Skirinish Farm Cottage is an exceptional self-catering property. The old cottage has been magnificently restored and fitted out to the highest standard with top quality fixtures, furniture and linens. It is very comfortable and has lots of space for 2 people. Lots of extras were provided to help with the self-catering. It has a good Internet connection, a washing machine and a dryer and would be very suitable for a long term stay. It is in a very peaceful rural setting, but only 15 minutes drive from the facilities in the main town of Portree. The location is good, too, for accessing the major attractions on Skye.

The only additional equipment we would have liked is a microwave oven. The long driveway up to the cottage could do with resurfacing. It is even rougher than the single lane roads to the attractions on Skye, but this should not put anyone off staying at the cottage.
