Cottage 6 Studio Mews

The cottage was as expected based on the pictures and the previous reviews. It had all the basics and was fine for a weekend stay. The location was great, cute little village with a nice pub, close to Keswick.

The cottage was quite small and it was all in one room so I wouldn't have stayed for longer than a weekend. Only one radiator which was ok for April but might not be enough for winter months. Check in process wasn't clear in advance so we had to phone the property.

While the key was in the lock when we arrived, it would have saved some naivety to be told this before we arrived. The bed being against a wall should be clear in the photos - that is v difficult for some people

Great location and really cosy little cottage. Well fitted out for such a small space. Good bathroom and good on site parking.

Just a bit dated in some parts: paint peeling and some old appliances, no hairdryer, no corkscrew, only one loo roll for two people for four nights, very uncomfortable chairs that needed extra cushions to cover the wooden bar across the back where the padding has worn away. Some areas not very clean.

Great location, dog friendly, clean and warm.

The cottage was very nice it seemed super at first. Parkking is great.

The bed was freezing cold , had to wear more clothes in bed than we did outside, there is one electric radiator which you had to sit up against to get warm.. it just doesn't work especially for a walking holiday. Heating lets this cottage down badly, cmon get it sorted you are in Cumbria. Would try again if heating is fixed .

The location was good It was warm Basic but clean

There was no parking at the property even when it stated there would be. There was black mould on the windows The bed is up against as wall one side so felt very claustrophobic
