Gemmis in Pompeii

Location is good. Near to city center and 15mins walk to Pompeii Ruin. The host response fast and allowe to check in to the room early. Light breakfast provided.

No lift at the apartment and need to climb up 2 floor with the luggage. Overall the stay was good

“Breakfast bar” was meagerly pathetic. I have pictures… you be the judge if you challenge my assessment. Croissants stale. Orange “juice” more link orange kool-aid. etc.

Housekeeper, as we returned from our all day trip to Herculaneum, left his/her KEY to our room in the open door! Again, We have a picture of the key IN the door if you care to challenge my complaint. In most countries with UCC guidelines would be seen as a breach of contract. We are still waiting to hear if booking.com will honor our complaint beyond their canned AI response. We immediately left B&B Gemmis ASAP and found another place NOT through Booking.com. We are unhappy and disappointed with the completely unprofessional behavior of the staff.

Very good stay experience. Will recommend this to everyone visiting Pompei. Really good behaviour from the staff and very friendly

Very nice, near to ruins, restaurants and bars close by, clean and tidy, a good assortment of items for breakfast, enjoyed Pompei, a great experience

Walls are paper thin, and I had the misfortune to have a couple arguing and shouting, that seemed to go on all the time, very very annoying

I liked almost everything. Good price for money. clean, newly total makeover, nice staff

I was a bit cold during the night. I prefer a ticker blankett over try to increase heat in the room via airco
