ZAThe bed linen was good quality.
We found this accommodation quite expensive for what was offered (R1500 for the night). One major downside was the 14 km gravel road leading to the property, which we hadn’t anticipated. The room had quite a few spiders, and there was no Wi-Fi available. While it’s advertised as self-catering, there were no basic amenities provided—not even a tea bag, coffee, sugar, milk, or a bottle of water, which are usually standard at other self-catering places we've stayed at. The only so-called “luxury” was a TV, but unfortunately, we couldn’t get it to work. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. We didn’t realize the location was so far from Parys itself, and since we hadn’t packed any food or drinks, it made the stay rather uncomfortable. Overall, the atmosphere felt quite cold and unwelcoming. Admittedly, we should have double-checked the location in advance, but it still didn’t feel like good value or a warm experience.

The hostess was actually rude. When we got there are 14:00 they were still cleaning the house. We asked for towls as there were 2 short. There was no small spoons and asked fot it 2. Dont think we would go there again.
ZAFriendly and accomadating host... clean cabins.. allowed for an earlier check in which was great. Comfortable beds. Just the picture showed river view but our rooms were in the back. At 10 checkout we enquired about just leaving things in the fridge because it was so hot and they were kind enough to let us use the chalet until the afternoon...
The gravel road to get there is terrible. The aircon in our room. was very ineffective so the place stayed really hot. Fans in the bedroom but it doesn't cool the room down ... outside area definitely needs to be cleaned or atleast dusted thousands of spider webs on everything.. the smaller cabin however had an amazing aircon
ZALovely tranquil surroundings. Luxurious accommodation. Value for money. The accommodation was clean, neat and tidy . A few meters away from the river. Lovely luxurious and comfy beds - slept like a baby. Lovely braai area. The owners were very generous and allowed us to enjoy our relaxing outing far beyond check out time. All in all a very relaxing stay - we will definitely visit again.
We have no complaints.
ZAOnce you there the place is amazing. However be warned that getting to the property is not a good drive especially if you driving a normal car
The fact that my booking said river view and this wasn't the case was quite disappointing.
