Great facilities,lovely views

Advertised as a cottage but in fact it’s an apartment but was still beautiful and had everything we needed. (Had to ask for extra bedding as the sofa was used - I should have made this clear on booking though!) No comments/recommendations book or welcome pack (ie teabags/coffee/small milk) so had to go straight back out to find the shop.

The esthetic was top notch!

The house was lovely and so comfortable. A wonderful space for 3 of us to relax in at the end of busy days at the beach. Good beds and lots of space and beautiful views of East Budleigh over the Otter River!

The communication with the host company didn’t work well. There isn’t a welcome manual or anything explaining the house and we just received generic emails instead of answers to our questions. There isn’t a lock box like what we were told so there was just a key in the door. There weren’t any bin bags, shower soap or laundry detergent provided, the overhead shower didn’t have hot water. These things didn’t make a big difference to the trip but we never received any answers to our questions about them so communication was poor but the house is lovely and very comfortable!

It is a lovely cottage in a beautiful area. The whole place was to a high spec and has an exceptional kitchen. It was a nice touch having the tree up over Christmas.

However, the Bath did not have a plug, the shower had very little power on the big shower head and one of the ovens was not working. There also was no duvet for the sofa bed. These were disappointing especially as we were cooking over Christmas and I love a bath when relaxing away.

Lovely space in a good area. Quiet, but close to amenities. Kitchen was pretty well equipped.

We had no problems with the place.
