Inca lodge - Amantani

Beautiful lake view. Close to Pachamama and Pachatata. Clean room and nice hot shower. All meals are delicious but simple.

Far from main port, we need to take motorbikes to get there. They drive very fast, I am so scared.

This place is just beautiful. Amazing view of the lake, especially at sunrise. Great food with most ingredients coming from their own garden or friends and family on the island. And most importantly the hosts are just the most amazing family, always friendly and with love in their eyes. Also they're really good at communicating with people like me that speak only un poquito español. The position of the place on Google maps is off by 200m or so which can make it hard to find, so in case they haven't fixed it yet, here's the correct coordinates: 15°40'10.4"S 69°42'24.7"W

I stayed here alone on an individual trip and the family (Justa, Adolfo and their daughter) were incredibly welcoming and kind, cooking me food three times a day (real tasty soups!), walking with me to show me the paths around the island (Adolfo even walked with me a 40min walk to the harbour on the other side of the island) and being very patient with my poor Spanish as well. The room is clean and comfy and the best feature is that it has a window looking east over the lake through which I witnessed two incredible sunrises.

It has been a great and quiet stay in Amantani at Inca Lodge. The family welcomed us very kindly. Eating local food, they showed us the way to Pachamana and Pachatata. We shared stories on Amantani's life and European life. The room is spacious with an outstanding view. You have plenty of blankets, you won't feel cold.

I would add some indications on the paths on the island or share a map beforehand on how to get to the property.

We could not have asked for a better accommodation in Amantani: the room and bathroom were very clean, excellent food and Alfonso and his wonderful family made us feel at home. Highly recommended!
