GBThe location is great being just a few steps from the thriving high street of Aldeburgh. Easy to walk everywhere. Bed comfortable and kitchen well stocked with kitchen equipment. We were able to park the car nearby each day on Park Road.
The property can only be accessed on foot as it is in an alleyway with steps up to the road (about 30) and down to the High Street (about 8). The stairs in the property are very steep as it is an old fisherman’s cottage. The bathroom is downstairs. There are 8 beds upstairs but it would be a tight squeeze to fit that many people in.

It hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived. It took 2 hours to sort organise a solution. Alternative accommodation was a room at a hotel above the bins & car park. Lots of recycling emptying and bottle deliveries early in the morning. Air Manage Suffolk hadn’t paid for alternative accommodation so I had to sort that out and they tried to charge us for Prosecco we hadn’t had. Finally got access to the accommodation, only 1 bed had been made with clean bed linen, the rest had just been remade, cobwebs everywhere. Dishwasher didn’t work. I appreciate mistakes can be made but the solution was a complete mess causing a significant amount of stress. Unfortunately Air Manage Suffolk haven’t bothered to call me to discuss any aspect of this.

I think they need a stair rail, painted stairs and I think this could be dangerous for children elderly snd anyone with a disability …the address could be clearly shown at the top of the stairs behind the property where we had to park… a sign to the address “entrance to high street and West Lane”?
GBGBClean, welcoming and perfect for our weekend in Aldeburgh. We loved everything about our stay. We parked on Terraced Way with no problem and the location was great for spending time on the beach and in the town with our little dog. A night time walk along the beach to Thorpeness was fun with torches and we ate at The Dolphin which was exceptional. We’ll be back for sure.
CHGreat location in the heart of Aldeburgh, clean, comfortable and well equipped with plenty of beds.
Took a while to warm up, especially the bathroom but think it was a particularly cold weekend. Door handles really hard to turn to open doors inside house.
