MI CASITA DE LA PLAYA

My arrival was fraught with difficulties. The host didn't answer my messages or phone calls. No one met me. Turns out the apartment was double booked. 3 older Irish ladies answered the door eventually. They gave me cups of tea and sandwiches until I got through to booking.com. The host did answer to booking.com and said they couldn't accommodate me. So then the hunt for a different apartment began. Only then did the host ring me..for what I couldn't say. I did meet up with the ladies later in the week who had been told by the host I should have been in the downstairs apartment. However, there is a family who lives downstairs permanently. I did eventually get another apartmemt 5 miles away.

When I gained access I was horrified. The apartment was tired, messy, unkempt, crowded with aging furniture and aparently nothing worked. The very steep steps into the complex were not advertised. Neither the steps up to the apartment. The photos listed did not represent the apartment honestly. There is no ground floor terrace as shown in photos.

Kettle was not working but cheap to replace Gas bottle empty for cooking but not a problem as I ate out. Gerry McCann

Good location near beach and facilities. Spacious layout though dated appearance.

Niggly gate operation and dated interior.

Lovely garden. Great wifi. The apartment, though quite old, had lots of charming little details.

Bed was a little too soft for me
