J&J Bed and Breakfast

Very lovely owner being super flexible with breakfast. Also helped us to book transportation to the airport. The outdoor area is nice as well. We had everything we needed and even more. There is a kitchen with a water dispenser and a fridge, etc. and there is a TV in the room and one real big one in the communal area. And as noted by others there are several roosters around the property but we used earplugs and had no problem with them.

Very good location within the short walking distance to the town centre, shops and restaurants nearby. The host is very helpful, has organised for us airport transfers and high quality day trips. For any our questions was given prompt response. Breakfast pancakes were delicious. The top terrace has an amazing view to the see and the sunset. Beautiful stay, highly recommended.

Be aware it can get very noisy, because of the roosters., but we managed to rest well

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked having breakfast on the patio each morning. We took takeaway and ate dinner on the rooftop one night. The best part of this place is Maryjane- she went above and behind. She sewed my husband's shorts when they broke, made us early morning breakfast before our 8am flight, and gave us some great recommendations. Lots of rooster noises but with earplugs, it was okay.

Make sure you are clear with your driver what location as there is another J&J guesthouse up a big hill, it was no big deal though as we got there!! I wish there was a hook in the bathroom/room.

The breakfast was great! The owner, Josephine provided a good meal for us according to our request. She is hands on, attentive to the needs of the guest. It’s accessible to all, just less than 5 minutes to the Lualhati Park.I would highly recommend the place, the staff, very clean and nice bed

We had a nice stay at J&J and particularly appreciated the help we were given as we faced food poisoning coming from a trip. Beds were comfy and room quite spacious. They also have a really nice balcony to have breakfast, ours had eggs, rice and a slice of watermelon. The only 2 cons I have to point out are the bathroom, very small and infested by ants, and the fact it's very noisy due to lots of chickens around the property (they do provide ear plugs though, so only an issue if you are a very light sleeper). The B&B is situated on a slope so make sure you ask whoever takes you there to go all the way up, otherwise you have to carry your bags and it's not nice.

The host Josephine was very accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Had a little trouble finding it initially but location was great. It's tucked away up a side road directly next to Hermanos Tapas and Wine Bar

-if you are not a morning person, this place is not for you; roosters surround the place and will have you awake by 6:30 am; was not a problem for us, we enjoyed our stay here; roosters are everywhere in philippines
