J&J Bed and Breakfast

Josephine is a lovely host, super friendly and helpful! Rooms are basic but comfortable and everything you need. They also had some gorgeous puppies during my stay! Would recommend

Bed was comfortable. Clean, other than moldy, leaking ceiling in the bathroom.

It is SURROUNDED by roosters and next to impossible to sleep, even with ear plugs. Stay elsewhere. Neighbours on both sides have approximately 20-40 caged roosters. The noise is crazy from 3 am to noon. Upon arrival the staff told us our room with two beds was booked because a guest extended and we were to be moved to a different room with one bed, which fine albeit odd. However unfortunately this room had a leak in the ceiling of the bathroom and black mold around the leak. We were also informed that because our original booking didn’t have AC and the new room did, we would be charged extra if we turned the AC on. Very strange policy. We were supposed to be on the second floor which has beautiful views, instead we were out beside the roosters on the main floor.

Clean and tidy…the owner is so kind and approachable including her staff.

There are some issues that need to be fixed but tolerable/acceptable.

The host and all ladies working there are just great. Very nice and friendly and helpful. Thank you!

In the downstairs room it would be nice to have a sink to wash your face and brush your teeth.

The property is so clean! The room was cozy but perfect for what we needed. The breakfast offered is so nice and you are asked what time you would like to eat! They currently have 4 adorable puppies staying near the B&B who are so cute and friendly and really made our stay so enjoyable greeting us every night when we walked back from town!

There is a lot a chickens around the property but it’s the same as everywhere in the Philippines! Ear plugs are provided and you get use to it very quickly. Wasn’t an issue for us.

We stayed four nights there, is a new guest house very good located, everything was always very clean, there is water for free, very good air conditioning. The owner and the staff who work there are very good people and they always treated us very well. They always asked if we needed something. I really recommend stay there.

The breakfast was good. If you need any help about getting from or to the airport or have any questions about tours, you can ask too. The room was clean.

Our stay here was a real highlight of our time in the Philippines. This is a new B&B and honestly it is a pearl. Firstly, Josephine is an amazing host. She is warm and welcoming, and also cooks a lovely breakfast which you can enjoy on the balcony overlooking the bay (a wonderful, calming start to any day). She gave excellent communication before and during our stay, and helped us to book tours with a really good operator, even providing snacks for us for the boat! The property itself is modern, spotless, and well-located in the town. The rooms are big and clean, with well-working AC. You’re a short walk into Coron town’s main strip, and near lots of nice restaurants. I’d highly recommend the B&B for anyone wanting to explore Coron. A real home away from home.
