The beds were lovely but the mattresses weren’t very comfy also the apartment smelt of cats or animals so I did buy some air freshener and left it there other than that excellent

I was sent a message with all the instructions prior to my arrival. I also contacted him over the phone when i was trying to find the car park.

Oven was dirty, not able to use. Tiles broken on bathroom floor. Washing machine drawers filfthy, had to be cleaned by us before we could use. Location for through the day being central was great, walked to shops, restaurants, halliwell jones stadium. But a completely different story for night time 🙈. Our first night stay (wed) was ok but then on thursday night it became apparent we were surrounded by the VERY LOUD nightlife which was unbearable, still going on to 3am at least. The same noise on friday night my word, i mights as well have been in the clubs/ pubs. To make it worse, around 230am ( we were still awake) we heard a lot of shouting and banging on doors inside the "locked doors" into the lobby of the appartments. I was so unnerved and was really worried about this. After 10 mins or so still shouting and banging, there was a man shouting and knocking at our apartment door. I didnt want my husband to open the door but when he asked who it was they shouted " police". My husband opened the door& 2 officers came in. They were trying to get into the apartment next door& was asking us questions. They asked to see our windows in the bedrooms. We were told not to panic but obviously we were. We also had a teenager with us, which he also has not slept over the 2 nights for the pubs and clubs- i honestly cannot emphasise how loud this was, to the point i asked the police if it was not breaching any noise in public etc which they agreed was ridiculous 🙈. When i asked the police how did they get into the lobby they told me the main door was not locked. This worried me even more as we had locked it on our return that night at 10pm. So it must have been opened again after that by someone else! I have messaged the owner of this apartment early this morning with all the above information with the opportunity to respond- which he has not!!

I sent my car registration to the host prior to arriving as they requested. The parking was located behind the building. That evening we ended up with a parking ticket. Complained to the host & he claimed to have cancelled the ticket. I contacted the parking company & the ticket had not been cancelled. Contacted the host again, but all my messages were ignored. Ended up having to pay the ticket. Stay clear of this place unless you fancy parking ticket & an uncooperative host.

Ended up with a parking ticket even though the host was sent my registration details. Also lied about cancelling the parking ticket. And ignored all messages.

Clean tidy comfortable

I contacted the host a few days prior to our stay to which I had no response in the day of arrival we had been to a concert so it was very late the pin we were given didn't work ended up on the phone to booking.com at 1 am to get the pin that should have been sent prior to our arrival which we never received poor customer service

Looking at the photos I liked the look of the apartment and I was satisfied this would be a great stay for my sons 6th birthday as a family. It was the complete opposite unfortunately and I'm completely saddened by it.

The beds had marks on, there was bugs in the bed. No spare bedding, unable to wash the bedding due to water being sat in the washing machine that smelt awful. Unable to use then oven due to how dirty it was. Mold damp and dirt under the sink in the bathroom cupboard. What looked to be sick smudged on the bathroom wall next to the toilet. There's a broken tile in the bathroom that's a trip hazard and gets worse walking in and out of the bathroom. When we arrived my 6 year old son handed me a lighter and an e-cig that was in the middle part of the sofa. Completely disgusting. Then we checked cupboards and there was about 7 different spirits/wines that were all partially drank and some left open! We were told parking was booked when we turned up we wanted to double check with the staff at the pub we were okay to park and they said nothing was booked so we had to pay. They said someone who owns the apartments has 3 spaces that's located just behind some gates... so we were hoping that's where we could park. Anyhow there was a van blocking the entrance and when we tried to contact the owner of the apartment it went straight to voicemail. We tried to contact the owner about all the issues in the apartment and he pushed back to tell me ' they are confused due to only having good reviews ' ... I wasn't even given an apology. I'm completely saddened by this experience. I wanted to show a staff member or the owner what the problems were. They didn't care nor did they want to see. I was told 'nobody will be there until checkout tomorrow' I wanted until checkout so I could speak to someone and show someone all the problems... nobody turned up. I waited until 12 and checkout was at 11am... I tried calling and everytime it went to voicemail. Trying to contact the owner is ridiculously hard.

Location to town centre. . Clean, spacious flat, good amenities. Really good response from agent, regarding my questions. Easy to find and accessible.

Noisy bar down the street, needed curtains in bedroom, blinds still let light in.
