Flat 3 Rylands Street

Nothing - it was dirty, noisy, unsafe and completely unfit for purpose. Avoid at all costs - we even got a parking ticket!!

On return we've had a parking ticket despite assurances our registration number was on the "system" and promises to get it cancelled. The car park directly behind the property was empty but we were told to park nearby and our registration number would be added... it wasn't. On arrival there was a sock over the smoke alarm and access to the bathroom is actually illegal its so narrow. The WiFi didn't work and we were told helpfully to reset the router... took ages to find it, under a bed! The flat was dirty, the bin was filthy, cups weren't clean and the beds were uncomfortable and itchy. The music from outside was so loud - you could hear all the noise from the street below which was full of unsavoury characters. This is not suitable for anyone but especially not for families. We left around midnight. The owners have no regard for the law nor the safety of those paying to stay with them, and they cost us an additional £120 in fines and alternative accomodation.

Parking option and the Satuday noises from the local pub.

The beds and linen were so soft and comfortable. The place was small, cosy and simple but perfect it had everything you needed. I liked that there were 2 double beds. Perfect for me and my brother. (Usually places like this have 1 double 1 single) the shower was ok and good of the landlord to leave us shower gel and shampoo + conditioner, also I like the grey towels (i hate when they are white) location excellent right near town centre but off the main part so not to intrusive. Xommunication with landlord excellent t and Directions of how to get in were excellent really clear and easy.

These are not complaints, just suggestions. There was not enough coffee and tea. (Just 2 sachets of each) the blinds in the bedrooms did not black out enough for my liking (especially as it was a main street, I would have likes a thick curtain over the top of the blind so there was a choice. Also did bit like locationnof shower, eg having to squeeze through door was hard but I totally understand there would have been no where else to put it.

Mattresses need changed, 2 broken tiles in bathroom need changed, shower strength is average and no iron in property. Didn't get confirmation of parking reservation till 10/11pm at night at which time it was too late and had parked on street.

Convenient parking

Parking fine, which took months to resolve, with limited comms from agency, although the were able to resolve eventually but it took a lot of messages and calls and chasing and stress with threatening pin letters received to get to that point. Very very loud street, clubs turning out till 2 and 3am, no good for families or early risers!

Clean and modern with all the facilities you would require. Central town location
