If I could rate this hotel a 0 then I would have! I have never known anything like it and as a solo traveller I was scared being on my own which doesn't normally happen! I arrived at 2am from Dubai. I was greeted by the security guard who helped me with my bags into the hotel. straight away it smelt like damp. The manager was rude and snatched my passport from me. I was very un easy especially being on my own. I was then taken up to my room which was awful to say the least. went up in the lift and was greeted with plain plastered walls and dirty looking walls. We approached my room which didn't even have a lock on the door. the door just pushed open, it was moody and smelt like damp. The shower was filthy and the sink. Bed sheets were damp . I said to the man who showed me up to my room that I wasn't happy and he said I had the best room possible!! I had to barricade my door with my suit case as it wouldn't shut. would hate to see the other rooms!! he left me and I couldn't even lie on the bed or shower or anything as it was just so dirty. I managed to find the details to the Taj Mahal Palace around the corner which had avaliblilty for the following morning which was a bonus! Cost me a small fortune but it was worth every penny, just wished id booked that the first time around! Overall, the stay was absolutely atrocious and please please please please DO NOT STAY HERE ALONE!!! Pictures do not show the half of it!!

The location was great, the rooftop bar was really good and the staff were really helpful and friendly

The room we stayed in was a bit tired and could do with a refresher the curtains where coming of the window rail
