Once upon a Cosy Nook

We had a lovely stay at Once upon a cosy Nook! A perfect location and the room is absolutely beautiful with a super comfy bed! the homemade cookies were amazing! Graham and Andrea were so lovely and so so helpful. We also love the cat cuddles and company 😊

Everything was great.

It was very nice to get a friendly welcome from Andrea, Graeme and the pussy cats. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated, so a pleasure to be in. A walk to the beach front and around the local neighbourhood was very enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet.

the husband and wife were so kind and helpful. Andrea was super patient helping us checking in and getting to know the house and the facilities. Very interesting couple where they do all the home decor themselves. Beautiful! Although kitchen wasn’t included in the listing, they were kind enough to allow us to do some simple cooking (boiling food only, no oily, no frying) and be there to see if we need help in the kitchen. We had chats during dinner, where they shared their wine with us. They are very genuine people. Don’t forget to try the home baked cookies they prepped, super good☺️ milk and lemon water was also prepped and chilled in fridge. Although the toilet was a shared one (they use it as well.) it was super clean. oh and the two little cats, Crumpet and Huey 🥹 as cat lovers, we enjoyed so so so so so much playing with them, petting them, having them on bed with us. 😍 If you’re staying in Dunedin, do not hesitate to stay with them. You will have a wonderful trip.

Andrea is a great host, friendly and accomodating. Cosy Nook is super styly, warm and in a great location.

It's near St. Clair Beach where you get to have a lot of choices as to where to dine from. I like the vibe as well of the room, as it has a vintage vibe. 🫶 Of course, me and my partner love the hosts, Andrea and Graham and the 2 cute cats, Huey and Crumpet. They are very accommodating and provided us the “must haves” in the room. We had fun even for a short while. Will be back for sure.
