Ca' Barbieri San Dona'- Calm and Comfort in the Veneto countryside

Ca’ Barbieri Guesthouse is truly a home from home. Anyone wanting to escape from day-to-day life should stay here. Marie and her family are ever so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they really looked after us. We left feeling like part of the family and are already planning our return for 2025 (we are counting down the days!!!) The breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious, it set us up nicely for a day by the pool. The pool itself is a piece of heaven, it is spotless and deliciously warm, while also cooling on a scorching summer day. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, cool (amazing A/C!!!) and had everything needed for our stay. We especially loved the blackout shutters and mini fridge. We had a wonderful sleep each night. The location of the guesthouse gives a real rural feel, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. This means you have a selection of restaurants which are frequented by the locals (always a good sign!). We will always remember our trip here. Thank you Marie

Stunning property and the host Marie is wonderful. The kids loved the pool

It was newly renovated to a very high standard, rooms were spacious and clean, bed ensured a good nights sleep.

Wi-Fi signal was poor but Marie did say that a new fibre cable network will be installed soon.

Everything was very good. The rooms were tidy and furniture are new. The owner was very nice and helpful.

The internet was slow.

Everything was great. The facility is really beautifully decorated, the room is tidy with a large and comfortable bed. The hostess really tried to make sure we had everything we needed, she recommended us restaurants where to eat well, she explained everything in details. If we return to Italy, we will certainly return to that hotel.

Old but renovated house in country style. Marrie, the host and owner,was very pleasant and helpful. Interior is very stylish. Every detail in the house is well planned and beautiful. I highly recommend!

There are still some works for the outside pool so front yard is not that beautiful as the interior of the house. It will be perfect in a few months.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations and it looks and feels better than in the pictures. ♥️ Very comfortable rooms, freshly renovated and I never saw a hotel room so clean. You can tell it was made with love, the mattress was sooo comfortable and every detail is high quality. Marie-Pierre, our host is the sweetest lady and she guided us through our whole stay. I can only hope we will return soon. ♥️
