Amazing little lodge with everything u need inside

Beautiful setting in the countryside at the edge of Perth. Has all the amenities to cater for yourself. Perfectly situated for someone who wants to visit the Perthshire countryside or venture into the highlands.

It would have been useful to have some tea bags or coffee. These basics don't expire and when you are there for a short stay such as ours, you may not necessarily be catering for yourself.

Lovely setting and very peaceful for a relaxing break.

The Bed was comfy ,the hot tub was clean

The shower was terrible 😩

The location was nice, it was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was great for the little time we had to use it. Unfortunately, it was ruined by other people and their dogs and the unhelpfulness of staff, if you can find them.

The lodge is about the size of a static caravan, the dogs in the lodge next to us were left to just run riot, nobody in reception to report this to, tried to owners but they didn't care, couldn't get out of the lodge on one occasion as their dogs were on the patio outside the door growling at me. We were there for a wedding and had a iron but no ironing board, when I found someone at reception I was told if I wanted one I would need to drive to the main building to collect one but that was when their manager was back in the afternoon( which was after the wedding). The place is dog friendly but should consider changing it to responsible dog owners only. Also, sitting in the hot tub having a dog bark at you and the owner watching is weird.

Good location

Everything was fine apart from other guests partying til late into night

Beautiful location amongst stunning trees, but also close to main routes and amenities. The nature was spectacular and we even saw red squirrels. It was ideal for us as we had had our dogs with us and it was a good location for them with space around the lodge and good walks v close. The lodge was well equipped with everything we needed, even a dishwasher.

Some of the decor was a bit tired

The property was lovely, equipped with everything needed for the stay. the surrounding area was beautiful and nice and quiet. The hot tub was clean and well looked after. I never met the owners during our stay so cannot comment on that.
