George & Dragon Hotel

Great little pub in a lovely location, very quirky, lots of charm and history. We loved it. Wouls stay again but would request a different room

Using the shower resulted in the bathroom being flooded (shower head sprayed everywhere from the handle) I understand the floors are uneven but the bed was on a angle, doesnt take much to prop up one side., tv has a hairline crack in the right hand side of the screen. Im not being fussy or nit picking we loved our stay. Just highlighting a few issues with the room.

Bloody expensive didn't bother

Being asked for money before they would let us in with our dog. The room was small. The stairs were short which made ascent and decent dangerous. Waited 1.5 hours for food and we were the only people in the restaurant. The food was rubbish. I had a burger which was a lot worse than McDonald's. I think the chef was also the cleaner. Needless to say I won't be staying there again

A little overpriced for what it is, in desperate need of a refurb, window didn’t shut properly, curtains half hanging off the rail, bathroom very very basic for the price, the room description said it had a coffee machine and hairdryer, it had neither

WiFi worked

The room wasn’t cleaned or bed made on first night… no toilet paper at all… the bar closed at 10 o’clock and couldn’t get a drink. Absolutely disgusting

Didn’t have breakfast Wanted to get out as soon as possible

The hotel is run down very tired looking. Cleanliness in room poor. Kettle full of limescale!! Bed hard like sleeping on a slab of concrete Bathroom dirty
