Camp Hillcrest, flat,

Very quiet and homey. Comfortable and very big. Very quirky looking too which we like .

We all loved the flat! It had a beautiful open space and a cozy fireplace. It was clean, warm, and spacious enough to fit a whole football team! The skate park was a fantastic bonus for my 13-year-old scooter enthusiast son😊

Kitchen facilities could have been better- cutlery, cups and utensils were very limited and needed washing before use The main oven didn’t work, only the hob. Bathroom had holes in the floor and felt like it could give way when walking on it

Had a kitchen with utilities to allow us to cook proper food. A log fire for comfort. The beds were comfy.

Great location off Offa's Dyke. Quirky and unconventional which is reflected in the pictures and price and suited us very well (aged 55-83 years old!). Would recommend!

Loved that it was set back out of the way of roads etc, loved the skate park and in the flat, the log burner was a major plus, friendly host. Loved the animals on site 🙂

We didn’t come across anything we didn’t like.

It is a quirky venue. Lovely to see the livestock and the friendly dog. Lovely views from the garden across the forest. Corinna was friendly and excellent in her communications. The bed was very comfortable - we actually had a choice of 3 had we felt like it.

The area around the buildings could perhaps do with some TLC - even a strimmer would help it look a bit tidier. The apartment itself was a bit tired in terms of decor, but given the regular residents, this may not be so important. We were only there for a night, so it was more than adequate for what we needed.
