Hillcrest is a brilliant place to stay with children. Our kids were so delighted when they saw the massive trampoline and the farm animals! Corinna and everyone at the camp were so welcoming, helpful and relaxed and we had a great 3 days there and exploring the surrounding area which has a lot to offer - Puzzlewood, Beechenhurst and go ape adventure treetop walks.

The property was perfect for what we were looking for which was an affordable place near St Briavels. Corinna was an excellent host who was always at hand as she lived next door. The actually flat had everything that you could expect for the money paid. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. I particularly liked the log fire.

I have no complaints as any slight improvements would have bumped up the price.

Great location, and the grounds kept our curious toddler entertained and was ecstatic with the animals on site. They put birthday bunting up for my husband too.

There weren't any kitchen knives, but I think that's because of the target age, didn't ask the host for any though as we were only there a couple of days

The wall art, outdoor space for my boys, the animals and the trampoline. Location was perfect for us, after visiting the new forest for a charity walk.

Great location, very good value, quirky no-frills accommodation

I absolutely loved the location, the host, the facilities and everything about our stay. My kids have said we have to return here as soon as possible for more fun and to take part in more of the available workshops. I could not fault our stay especially for children who are a bit wild. Thank you so much for giving us a weekend to treasure.

The bed was comfy and the host was friendly

Messy area loads of empty beer boxes left outside properly was messy and well worn as the flat was separate from the rest of the property which I believe is a kind of hostel and 60 pound just to sleep there with no breakfast my expectations were a little higher as I don’t think it matches the way it is described
