Villa Pieve De' Pitti

What a Beautiful place to stay, a huge villa that has its own chapel and steeped in history. The Breakfast was everything you wanted to start the day, the pasties and yogurt were home made and if you wanted an egg they were cooked specially. The pool was 1 of the biggest private pools we have been in and the surrounding area was fantastic. A nice touch is the Honesty bar which is open all the time, which has their own wines and other drinks, they also do wine tasting sessions and tours of the vineyard. The rooms were huge as were the bathrooms and very clean. the villa is a working vineyard so check-in was pre arranged and well organised. The Villa is in a fairly central location for trips to Pisa and Florence (1 Hour) and the surrounding towns are also well worth a visit. We went mainly to go to the Teatro del Silenzio to see a concert which was a short drive and shuttle bus ride. Lots of fantastic restaurants within 10 min drive. If you want a peaceful retreat to get away from it all or just to tour Tuscany I can't think of a better place to stay. The only thing to bear in mind is that a car is essential as it is so private in the countryside and the gravel track to the property is approximately. 2 Km long

Could have done with milk for the room to make a cup of tea. We also didn’t know you could request an egg at breakfast.

It is a home from home - a family run villa in the tranquil, rolling hills of Tuscany. If you want to stay in a place that you imagine Tuscany looks like this is it.

Beautiful villa that overlooks the hills of Tuscany- 2.5 miles from Peccioli - a stunning little village

There’s a Rocky road up to it approx 2 km but when u get used to it it’s fine u just need to be careful if in a smaller hire car.

The location is tranquillity at its best. The vineyard owners greeted our last minute booking with a warm welcome and went above and beyond with a private wine tasting and meal. Sergio and Ida are absolute gems that add to this properties appeal.

Only thing would be a coffee maker in our room.

Very pleasant stay. Setting amongst mature trees surrounding Villa is incredible. Views across the Tuscan countryside. The room terrace overlooking the swimming pool with Tuscan scene surroundings.

The sign to the Villa is easily visible from the road however if arriving at night and after taking the turn the road soon turns into a fairly rough track with no further signs. The Villa is a fair distance up the track with multiple properties along it.. At night it might be useful to have additional signage along the track to assist in locating the Villa if arriving after dark.
