Very friendly and helpful owner / staff even with a language barrier. Comfortable room and good value for money.

Breakfast was included in our room rate and was one of the best breakfasts we have had in Ecuador- coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, fruit, granola, yogurt, bread, jam, ham, cheese, and eggs. Well worth the money. Hotel was very clean, swimming pool was great, especially after being in the sun all day. Felt really safe. Staff friendly and polite. They have tea, coffee and water you can have whenever you want during your stay. Room was massive. We had 4 double beds overlooking the pool. The rooms on the front of the hotel have views overlooking the sea, but our room was great. About a 10 minute walk all into town. Would definitely recommend hotel to others.

Was given a 3rd floor room when I requested a garden view because I don't handle stairs well.

it was charming and in a convenient area. the room was simple but clean with a nice view of the harbor.

the bed pillows were very thin and not comfortable but we were so tired it didn’t really matter.

I had a lovely stay at La Casa de Judy for four nights. The staff were friendly and helpful and it's a family run affair. The room was spacious and clean and the shower hot with good pressure. I enjoyed the view of the sea from my balcony.

This isn't the hotels fault but other guests leaving early in the mornings, particularly with kids, showed no regard for other sleeping guests, yelling at each other across the property. The WiFi is weak but as it is most places in Santa Cruz, buy a local SIM card but even then you'll find in this area of the island the signal is weak, but it is stronger closer to the main pier and 'downtown'
