Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor

Rooms/bungalows are set amongst beautiful gardens, with 3 good pool areas. The staff around the pool areas were very friendly & very helpful.

The room type we stayed in was very dated, with some aspects in desperate need of updating. After one night we had to move room, as the AC just pumped out hot air. The second day in the second room (just our room), we lost all power twice, with an engineer needed both times. For the next 12 days we lost count of the number of times the same thing happened - Sometimes it came back on its own after a while, sometimes it needed an engineer again. No further offer to move room was made.

However, the most disappointing aspect was the catering service after checking in early. We wanted to have something to eat. After communicating with the staff who provided breakfast, we were able to use the breakfast included in our package. We could skip breakfast the next day. But the cost was still charged to us when we checked out. They didn't even bother to call the staff at that time. Knowing that we needed to catch a bus, they prolonged the process and prevented us from leaving. We were forced to swipe our card to check out, and the experience was extremely poor。 但是，非常差的就是提前入住后的餐饮，我们想吃东西，跟提供早餐的员工沟通后，可以提前使用我们套餐里面的早餐，第二天不再吃早餐即可，但是这个费用，依然在我们退房的时候，让我们支付早餐的费用，让他们把当时的员工叫过来，也无动于衷，知道我们需要去赶车，就拖时间，不让我们离开，被迫刷卡离开。

Nice facilities

My partner got his shoes stolen outside the room. These were stolen during the night. When we confronted the staff, they were not helpful at all, putting the blame on us leaving them outside. They even joked a cat could have taken them. There are cameras everywhere and security at the gate before entering the resort, therefore there is no way they did not know who took them. They just decided to ignore it, as it was probably someone from the staff

Loved the property. GORGEROUS location, great pools, right on the Nile.

Un peu excentré mais c'est le prix de la tranquillité et du calme
