VENICE Sweet Home - your home in a beautiful neighborhood of the City of Venice

The best thing about this property is the quiet location with good access by car, with public transport (bus, tram) nearby, and handful of shops around. We made only a stop-over for two nights, with a one-day trip to visit Venice. For such a purpose the accommodation was suitable. Cannot judge on the A/C which was only placed in the central corridor of the flat as we experienced rather colder and rainy weather at the end of the summer.

Things to improve? Definitely yes - an uncomfortable couch without any small table in the large living room, a very old flat screen TV, tiny bathroom with a funny curtain around the tub, kitchen without a coffee machine (whether capsule or filter), also maybe the cooker hood worth cleaning to improve the air/smell quality in the kitchen. Also there is not really a car charger at the property which was in the description, and the private parking which was supposed to be included in the price (finally it was, after some conversation) is not really worth trying with a bigger car. Were those things horrible? Not really, and I believe next time it will get better. EDIT: After an arrogant response from the owner let me tone down some of the description. I will not adjust and worsen the overall rating. Even in the original evaluation I rather proposed some things to improve and finished with a hope to maybe come back again - which is no longer the case. After leaving on time, cleaning all the dishes and taking out the trash (also realizing the trash bins are not publicly accessible without payment), now being accused by the owner that we left the apartment "full of garbage" seems to be beyond appropriate behavior.

De eigenaar Sandro, begint al dagen van te voren te vragen naar foto's van de paspoorten, iets wat in de huidige tijd niet meer kan, van wege de veiligheid van deze documenten. Dit hadden wij dus niet gedaan, verder vroeg hij 20 euro via paypal over te maken, terwijl de toeristen belasting 4 euro per persoon per nacht, dat betekend dat het totale bedrag 16 euro zou moeten zijn! Wij hadden besloten dit voor elkaar te maken als wij daar aankomen. Normaliter betaal je dat bij vertrek! Nu werd dit een grote teleurstelling, wij waren rond 20 uur daar. Hebben wij de meneer Sandro gebeld, deze gaf aan dat hij eerst pasfoto's wilde hebben via WhatsApp en 20 euro via Pay Pal. Daarop volgde een reactie dat hij de pasfoto's niet duidelijk kon lezen, nogmaals foto's verzonden. Voor de betaling stuurde hij (nadat ik aangeven had om cash te betealen) een verwijzing naar via google om als nog het nu verhoogde bedrag van 25 euro te betalen. Dit gedaan, het heeft totaal ruim een uur geduurd in de regen, voordat wij naar binnen konden. Allemaal zeer frustrerend. Vanmorgen de heer Sandro bericht over het feit dat wij 9 euro teveel betaald hebben, maar daar gaat hij niets mee doen. Ik vind dat dit vervelende gedrag, vermeld dient te worden bij deze accomodatie op uw Website. Het gedrag van meneer Sandro. Verder is het een ruime accomodatie met een zeer slechte indeling. Ook missen wij horren voor de ramen.

I liked the location, the availability of free outdoor parking. The apartment was very spacious and clean. Although I didn't need it, it was equipped with everything needed for someone who wants to cook. The proximity to the bus station leading to Venice is a big plus. Safe neighborhood, shops quite close, quiet in the building.

I didn't like the fact that there was no coffee for the morning, even if whoever was in charge of this forgot, Italians should know that it is very important to have coffee in the morning. Maybe too many messages from the owner, possibly Italian hospitality but still a little annoying, I received many information messages but still, I didn't think it was ok the morning message at 7.30 in which you are asked to announce when you are leaving even though the check out is at 10:00, although I was announced in already in the evening before. Payment of the city tax only via Paypal, parking in the yard is only available for the amount of 10 euros.

Cicha, spokojna okolica. Blisko do sklepu. Nie daleko plaża ( Jesolo). Jeszcze bliżej do Wenecji. Trzy pokoje więc każdy z nas miał swoją przestrzeń. Dodała bym może do kuchni czajnik elektryczny. 😉

המקום היה מאוד נקי, מאורגן ומסודר. סנדרו היה זמין, נגיש, שירותי ונתן לנו הוראות מאוד ברורות איך להיכנס בעצמנו. הדירה מרווחת מאוד ובמרחק 10 דקות נסיעה מהשדה. המזגן נמצא במסדרון המרכזי ורק בו, אבל ברגע שמדליקים נכנס לכל החדרים. תודה לך סנדרו!

הגענו בלילה מאוחר, היה עוזר לנו אם היה בקבוק מים במקרר. חוץ מזה הכל היה ממש טוב.
