Central Buxton - Modern Cottage - Peak District

Lovely little home Perfect for what we needed

Beautifully decorated and clean! Also loved the boards games which were these for us

The sofa could be little comfortable so you can relax and watch the TV

Very nice location and good facilities.

Nice little cottage. Great location for Buxton Town, train station and supermarket. Clean and comfortable with easy parking. Host was very attentive with communication, and a folder covered everything you might need to know about the house.

Not much to criticise. The kitchen could do with some oven gloves and a chopping board. We also felt the window in the twin room was a little dangerous for children (large, low, and top hinged).

The house was compact, modern clean and very well appointed. The keys were in a lock box outside, the front door as instructed.. the guest guide book was very comprehensive and a nice touch. we liked the outside space in the back yard and ate dinner outside one evening. . we liked that it was walking distance to Buxton's pubs and coffee shops and all amenities. local supermarket and convenience store aswell.

we didn't like the fact the house was below a train viaduct and was noisy during the night and early morning so not suitable if you are a light sleeper. also an industrial area so not pretty but it is a nice little cottage inside. front door bottom key was difficult to use just needs checking over

Absolutely spotless, amazing shower, comfy beds, 5 minutes walk from town, and a great base for peak district walks. Good communication from the owner. will stay again

Ben was really responsive to messages. The place was perfect for our group. Really good location, and nice backyard area.

Was made aware house opposite industrial estate. Or wasn't made aware it was serounded by social housing
