GBI was cheated on the spot, I did not receive the keys to the house and I had to find another place to stay.
GBGBGBLocation was good - short taxi ride away from the venue we were visiting. Size of the rooms was excellent and good value for money when shared between multiple people.
Clearer instructions on how to obtain the keys. We thought that they might be in a lockbox as we were provided a PIN but we had to ring the host to collect the keys.
GBBooking.com stated that check in was from 3pm so we made plans to suit this. However when we contacted the owner he point blank told us we could not check in til 4pm. So we had to amend our arrangements which was not convenient
First floor toilet seat was lose. First floor bedroom (lefthand side) light switch did not work, leaving the light permanently on all night. Not ideal when there were 10 spotlights. Also can I suggest that a lock is put on the cellar door in the kitchen. The stairs are very steep and guests have no reason to be going down there. This could be a danger hazard for anyone staying with young children. Please note for future guests, not only are towels not provided, neither was any toilet roll. Clean accommodation but very basic
