The property was clean and okay

There was no insufficient electricity, toiletries, the garden was poorly maintained, and WiFi was weak or unavailable. Apart from the property itself, there were very few facilities, which explains the poor guest ratings. For example, the electricity card ran out in the middle of cooking, and there wasn’t even a proper knife for preparing meat or vegetables.

The location was lovely and perfect for our visit. The site itself is great, the grounds, staff and facilities were top notch.

Upon arrival the property wasn’t very clean (the laundry was however). The main blinds in the living room were mouldy and dirty and broken. The blind in the main bedroom was broken, the window in the small bedroom was broken and wouldn’t shut. The kitchen wasn’t clean and the cupboards were tired. The beds were all uncomfortable, very springy mattresses. The toilet seat was peeling. The sofas weren’t comfortable and were falling apart. There was a sock underneath a scatter cushion from previous guests. One side of the toaster didn’t work. The WiFi wouldn’t connect, the tv didn’t always get a good enough signal to watch live tv. The oven only worked on 240. The fridge wasn’t very cold and there was no freezer compartment at all. The windows were dirty with hand prints. And we found fleas and were bitten in the night. The outside furniture needed pressure washing and the garden needs weeding. The whole place smelt of old foisty damp dog.

WiFi didn't work, couldn't get any hot water out of the shower. The bunk bed was uncomfortable.

The site is tucked away in a beautiful area. The access was very easy and just like having a home away from home. Ideal place to stay if you have a dog and enjoy the great outdoors.

Bathroom needs a little TLC but otherwise fine.

The location was good, buses are available just outside the gates. I highly recommend using buses especially if you are going to climb Snowdon, parking is limited also you are not limited to one route or time. Breakfast, we made our own.

The second bedroom window was broken so we couldn't shut it and we found it wide open which felt a bit strange and insecure especially for the boys. I am sure it would have been fixed but we discovered it just before bed time.

Great location, with excellent facilities on site.

The location was ideal for a short stay to climb Snowdon and explore the local area. The beds were also very comfortable, and the contactless check-in/out was handy for coming and going as we pleased. Parking was also great, right opposite the cabin. There was a handy shop and cafe on-site too with friendly staff.

Some spaces in the cabin were exceptionally small, like where the bedroom door got stuck on the arm of the living room sofa. We also didn't communicate this with the owners at the time but we had issues with the WiFi, heater, and TV not working and the hot water stopping working during our stay - but our trip was so short that we didn't bother trying to reach out and fix the issues. They possibly could've had quick/simple fixes, but we weren't staying long enough to care to try figuring it all out.
