Mulberry Cottage - Cosy 3 Bed Cottage near Lytham Windmill

The house is beautifully presented, clean, cosy, warm (we were there in February). Host is very welcoming and patient (when I managed to go to wrong lockbox!!). Lovely location, just off the thriving high street in Lytham, and two minutes from the waterfront. Well equipped kitchen, too.

Excellent location. Very clean, light and warm property with quality furnishings and equipment. It would have been nice to have some supplies for the log burner and the different towel sizes was odd as we were all adult guests! Also useful would have been the instructions for the dishwasher!

This is a beautiful cottage and we had a very comfortable stay. The location is very central but on a quiet street. Marie, the host, communicated regularly and was most helpful - even after our stay when I realised I had left some clothes! She couldn't be more helpful.

The location was excellent just a minute's walk to the shops and seafront. The cottage was just fabulous and very tastefully decorated with easy to follow instructions for things. The kitchen was well equipped as was the bathroom and a lovely log burner in the lounge. There was also a welcoming pack of crisps, mulled wine, white wine and coffee pods for the machine which was a lovely touch by the hosts. Plenty of crockery and utensils for anything you needed to cook although I think for a stay longer than two nights a bigger fridge as we filled it with food and drink for the four of us.

Everything was fabulous apart from the front two twin beds as they were not very comfortable as my friends could feel springs in the mattress. Everything else pretty good. There was nothing else not to like.

The property was in a really good location for shops, bars, walks, beaches and restaurants with a parking. Space. It also had an outside space which could be made private by a screening which was available.

The property was not very welcoming in that it was cold and had a slightly damp smell when you walked in. It would’ve been nice to have a little bit more home, furnishings, warmer paint colours and perhaps a little more carpet to make it a warmer cosier feel. Maybe a few pictures on the walls upstairs .Also the lighting in the property for a winters day was very dull and there weren’t any mirrors in two of the bedrooms.

Marie was so helpful with our request for early check-in. The cottage was beautiful and so clean. Highly recommended from us all.

Very tastefully decorated, cosy and clean, well equipped kitchen etc, ideal location for Lytham centre and travelling to St Anne's and Blackpool. Very enjoyable family stay for few days.

Facilities at the cottage were great. Beds were comfortable and all the rooms are lovely.

The property is lovely. If I was being really picky it would be nice to have a mirror in each bedroom and a bigger fridge/freezer. Having said that we loved our stay and would definitely stay again.
