Lux 2 bed Apartment ManCity Stadium, COOP Arena, Picadilly

Convenient for what we needed for a short stay.

Issues with the security deposit and the timings of when the property had been left and when it had been cleaned afterwards - apparently a pigeon had got in through a window (we had left the apartment on Sunday, didn’t get a response until Thursday regarding such issue, with cleaner said to have attended on Tuesday). Host said that ‘damage’ had been left which hinted to me that the deposit would not be returned. Later retracted this statement following no damage illustrated in photos sent but pigeon poo was of our fault (whilst windows remained open with no attempt to say that they had been closed following the cleaner being in on Tuesday and this altercation occurring on Thursday). After a lot of two and froing, most of the deposit got returned, £25 left short without mention of keeping £25… decided to let the £25 slide but has spoiled the experience staying here.

Very close to Etihad, Co Op & football arena. 15 mins into central Manchester. Accommodation was spotless & comfortable- well described on the website- kitchenette handy but no tea/coffee provided. Did what we need , served as a base as we were in & out.

Security deposit was confusing as shows as pending on paypal but not bank account. Bathroom mirror missing, made it difficult to get ready but a quick fix. Strict house rules apply (understandable as others living there) but made it hard to relax at times.

It was the perfect base for bringing my son for his first Man City game. He absolutely loved the loft bedroom. And although wishing a home with other guests the room and facilities meant you had your own private space
