'Kodi's Place' Well appointed 1 bedroom apartment with excellent transport links and free Wi-Fi

Stephen and Janice are a friendly local family, next door. They are great hosts and animal lovers. We got to meet their cats and dog on request. We had a lovely visit and really enjoyed the vibrant city. The accommodation has been superb. We had everything we needed and it has been really comfortable. The bed is extra large. There’s a private secluded garden with a seating area; and although conveniently close to the railway station it is surprisingly quiet, you can enjoy the birds singing in the hedges. You can smoke outside in the garden. We were there in the winter and the place was warm and cozy. The facilities are high quality and clean. We appreciated the provisions including fresh milk and coffee pods for the machine. There is a selection of tourist leaflets to borrow and we recommend the Titanic museum and St. George’s Market, a mixed daily market in a covered Victorian building. The Christmas market at City Hall was brilliant. We have plenty of ideas for future visits. Nearby Whiteabbey station is only a 5 minutes ride to York Street station in the City centre.

Excellent location, lovely hosts, very clean. Really appreciated the extras, e.g. coffee machine and pods.

I am a wheelchair user so had a few challenges- narrow bathroom and didn’t find the sofa comfortable. Otherwise, everything was perfect for me.

Everything was great. What a fantastic apartment for 2 nights as well the wonderful host. I will definitely stay here again. Excellent connections to the centre of Belfast.

Nothing to dislike.

Kodi's place has everything you need for an enjoyable stay in this part of NI. It is a short distance from a very beautiful coastal walk at Hazelbank enjoyed by locals and visitors alike as well as being right beside Whiteabbey Train Station meaning that you can comfortably go into Belfast and other places without the hassle of traffic or parking. The apartment is excellent with a fully equipped kitchen, a great bathroom and an enormous double bed in a very agreeable bedroom. There is even a little garden you can sit out in if the weather so permits.

The only minor point and it is only minor, is that if you have a car it is a little awkward to negotiate your way into the parking spot. Having said that, after a bit of practice it is dead easy and if you find it uncomfortable you can always park on a much wider and relatively peaceful road at the end of the street.

This property is absolutely exceptional! I very rarely write reviews but I had to write a review of 'Kodi's Place.' Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 nights over his 30th birthday. I let the owners know that it was his birthday in advance and asked if they could maybe put some little decorations up and they went above and beyond for us. They had banners up, balloons and even left a cake and candles on the table. It is by far the kindest gesture any hosts have given us during our stay. The bedroom is huge and the bed is very big and extremely comfortable. There is an amazing smart TV and you can lie up and watch all the streaming platforms including Netflix and prime. You are located right next to Whiteabbey train station which is fantastic if you need to take the train in and out of Belfast or other surrounding areas. I can't recommend 'Kodi's place' enough and myself and my partner will definitely be back!

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung mit allem was man braucht. Großes Bett, gute Küche und die Handtücher waren kuschelig weich. Sogar ein kleiner Garten um draußen zu sitzen. Direkte Nähe zum Bahnhof. Die Katzen waren super niedlich.

Hosts, Stephen and Janice were very friendly and helpfull. Well equipped and clean. Easy access to Belfast by public transport. Very quiet and good base for exploring. Would stay again if we return to Belfast.
