The staff were extremely helpful and communicative, the unit was clean, it was good value for the price and the location was pretty good (a little difficult for food -- some local food options, but not a lot within walking distance). We were able to effortlessly rent a scooter for a day from them at a great price and we recommend you do that to open up the food options. The staff also pre-booked a ride for us to the airport at 530am.

Unfortunately, we unknowingly booked the accommodations during a local festival that had extremely loud music playing from noon until 3am for 2 days straight. That said, the owners offered to take us to a "sister hotel" for 2 nights. They drove us there and back and the sister hotel was an upgrade -- it had a pool was very quiet but was also very isolated. There was no charge for the move and they were all very accommodating. We have discovered that we are very sensitive to the strong synthetic scents that are used all over the Philippines for air freshener or in the laundry -- it is hard to enjoy your vacation when your throat is raw and the scent is overpowering. The use of these scents to mask the scent of mildew in the humid climate is pervasive, not just this establishment, but colour the whole trip.

Fantastic place, such great value for money. Near best beaches on the island, in a quiet neighbourhood, with restaurants in walking distance. Huge room and bathroom, outdoor seating, free water, peaceful environment and friendly staff & owners.

The resort is a peaceful hidden place very close (walking distance) to one of the most beautiful beaches (Dumaluan) but at the same time far from the Main Street. Quiet at night. Very clean and comfortable. The staff helped me in arranging transportation and motorbike rental. Highly recommended.

Friendly and responsive staff, easy to hire a scooter through them, the location was around a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by scooter to the best beach, Dumluan beach.

Nothing really, just beware that the road off of the main road upto the property is really rocky and would be quite difficult to ride up if you aren't experienced riding. Its also a drive away from any of the main food areas so you will need to rent a scooter.

We had a short but very pleasant stay at Casa D’ Hiyas Homestay Panglao, Bohol. The guesthouse is located a bit away from the busy tourist areas, near Dumaluan Beach, and is surrounded by nature and local life, which made the stay feel very authentic. Along the nearby main road, there are several restaurants and small local stores where you can buy snacks and water. Scooter rental is available on site, which is very convenient. The hosts were very friendly, always reachable, and helpful whenever possible. The room was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the area was generally quiet. Like in many parts of the Philippines, you can hear dogs and roosters during the day, but this did not bother us as we were usually out exploring. Dumaluan Beach can be reached in about three minutes by scooter or around ten minutes on foot. If you continue further, you reach more touristic areas with more traffic, more restaurants, and other services. Overall, this is a great location to explore Panglao and nearby attractions. It is especially suitable for travelers who prefer a quieter and more authentic stay while still being close to everything. Thank you for the lovely stay.
