Thornton's Sea View Cafe & Guesthouse

The accommodation was a bit small and simple, but quite new and neat. The location is great with a very nice view in the restaurant and also from our balcony. The power was out for 2 evenings but that was no problem, without light we could see the stars better! Our compliments to Anne, the owner. She is very friendly and helped us well with information. The food in the restaurant is also great! The whole atmosphere is wonderful!

The staff were very nice! If you are looking for a peaceful time in your vacation I highly recommend this place.

Very nice location overlooking Siquijor town. We booked here the first night after the ferry arrived and it's perfect for this. A couple of minutes from the port by scooter or you could even walk if necessary (30 min). The staff was very warm and welcoming. The room with balcony and private bathroom was spacious. Had dinner in the restaurant and the adobo chicken was great!

There is no AC, but this is clearly stated. For an overnight stay when arriving in the evening this is ok. Not suitable to stay in the room during the day I guess. The water pressure of the shower is not the best but this is rather normal in Siquijor.

The best view in the Island! I like that the place is maintained clean. To those who are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay, this is the place. The owners and staff are warm and accommodating.

We actually don’t mind if the showers doesnt have heater. But it’s worth mentioning for other guests to know that the water, being at the mountain is cold especially at night. The access road uphill also has potholes. This is out of the guesthouse’s premises but just a warning to be careful with driving for motorcycles.
