The hosts were super friendly and being greeted by JJ was extra sweet. The location was outstanding for accessing Palo Duro Canyon. We loved all the original art work of Palo Duro that was in the house. Very charming!

This is probably a small oversight, so it's NOT a complaint. There was no cutting board in the kitchen for food prep. Perhaps it was stolen. 🤷‍♀️

On site manager for any questions or problems. Washer and dryer available. Hot tub was a plus

There was nothing to like. We never made it inside.

When we arrived, we called the host to get the access code for the property. I had to leave a message. After 10 minutes, I called again and left a message. After an hour, I called again and left a message. We never heard from the Host and had to get other accommodations. 2 days later, still never heard from the Host. We only had views from the outside. There were two other rentals very close to the rental we had booked and two living quarters. The hot tub didn't look very appealing. It was a ghost town with no people, signs, or directions. Just a quiet, run down farm. I recommend you DON'T book here. You will be disappointed and absolutely NO contact with the HOST. I don't see why the reviews made it look so glamorous because it was quite the opposite. I was very disappointed.

The property was cozy and well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen appliances & supplies, comfy furniture, WiFi, and big screens. It was a delight to return to the cabin each night after a full day of hiking at Palo Duro Canyon.

It think it would be good if the kitchen door had blinds and/or a curtain.

The living room is very comfortable and the wifi worked well. There's plenty of space. Large dining table.

Where do I begin? The day of my arrival, the host didn't respond to several messages through Booking.com about check-in. When I pulled up, I called and texted them several times before someone finally picked up and asked me where I was staying (?), then provided a check-in door code. Very annoying and not a good start. Throughout my stay, I was constantly assaulted by the incessant barking of several dogs on their property. I messaged the host about this and was told it was being handled. Yet it continued throughout the morning at 7:30am and then into the following evening at 10pm. All they did was move the dogs into a trailer that was 100 yards from my porch... It's extremely stressful when dogs are constantly freaking out about nothing. Forget about using the hot tub. The host seemed frustrated with her husband and said something strange about how "they're not really their dogs but they're watching them", and she shared a bit too much personal frustration with me about her husband that made me uncomfortable. This entire situation was confusing because of all the reviews about how "quiet and peaceful" this property is. Yeah right! I lost an entire day of hiking on my vacation due to checking out early of this awful situation and moving to an Airbnb for my final night. The host thankfully granted a full refund because she knew she'd let me down as her guest. The main bed is a thin mattress that is not very comfortable and the bed pillows were as flat as a pancake. The kitchen was dirty with dead bugs on the counter. Despite being a "full kitchen", there were no bowls. There's a washer dryer, but no detergent or dryer sheets provided, so basically useless. The shower easily gets backed up so you're standing in a pool of your own filth water. I should have listened to reviewer Haydn when they said "Don't do it, girl".

Cute home. Well appointed. So much more space than we anticipated.
