Location lovely, very friendly staff....

Slamming doors a lot, some evenings or early morning. Bed was very uncomfortable, and lumpy pillows. Toilet seat didn't stay up when used. No hot water one evening from shower or sink. Sink too small in bathroom. Cup holders and glass shelf were in the way and made it difficult to wash face over sink Latch on bedroom door wouldn't click to lock. On booking it stated no food on Monday and Tuesday. On arrival I was told no food available on a Wednesday either, which was a shame. No area in bedroom to put anything apart from the table kettle was on. No area in bathroom to put toiliteries.

Lovely place, staff friendly and the breakfast was really good value, would highly recommend.

This place is a real gem. The place is absolutely beautiful. The staff were super friendly. And the food was amazing. The room was immaculate with a very comfy bed. We will be back

It was a lovely pub the meals were fantastic breakfast was one of the best I've had for a long time,staff were super friendly.

Was not as quiet as I would have liked, but bearable.

Bin was still full from previous occupant, tea cups were still there dirty, lots of dirt caught in the under door brush, plug hole in shower filthy and clogged. Sheets were not ironed. Missing a woman's touch. Things were soon sorted once pointed out to staff member.

The whole experience was exceptional! From meeting the lovely landlord too how efficient and how friendly all the staff was. Overall it was the best stay we could have wished for. The food was beautiful and the room was stunning.

The whole place is lovely. The bar itself is nice and welcoming. Our room was just perfect. The bed was so comfy. Exceptionally clean. The cooked breakfast was very nice too 😋. I left an item of clothing in the wardrobe, didn't realise until I got back home, telephoned them and asked if I paid for postage would they post it to me, they've told me not to worry about payment and they will send it on to me. Thank you so much, very kind. The walk into the centre is only about a 40 minute walk downhill, with stunning views. We stopped off at a pub half way down too which was nice. Definitely intend visiting again.

Lovely location and all the staff really friendly and welcoming. Room was comfortable and was ready a little earlier as I arrived earlier

I was told on arrival limited food options as the chef was on holiday, not a massive issue. Meal was nice. Was provided a breakfast pack for the morning with fruit, cereal and milk but no bowl or spoon to eat them with which I thought was abit strange if this is what they normally do

Expected parking, when we arrived there was a bouncy castle there instead which is fair enough but thought we may have been told, we paid an extra £10 for check in 2 hrs earlier as was told extra staff would need to be brought in however when going into our room, it looked very rushed as there were bits on the floor, bits in the shower, blobs of shower gel in shower tray, TV remote was half under the bed, no teaspoons for the hot drinks, we booked and paid for a hot breakfast which was a reason for us booking, then whilst having a drink 10 mins later was told you were not doing hot breakfasts so we got a refund.
