Lovely pub with lovely rooms, really comfy bed, the staff were lovely and friendly as was John the owner. Food was also amazing and location great. Will definitely return

Pillows were rather flat Rather hot room despite the open windows, as sun comes through all day ... But it was an exceptionally hot two days

We stayed 2 nights in this country pub with rooms which is in a lovely location right in the countryside but within easy reach of the village which has numerous pubs/bars/restaurants. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Our room had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The room was a good size, nicely decorated and very comfy. The staff were all really nice. Absolutely everything was thought of in the room, even down to a little toothbrush and toothpaste pack which I've never seen before in a b&b. They really did include everything you could need.

It was a little noisy with music in our room when we got back in at night around 11pm. Not sure if the pub speakers were directly underneath our room. We weren't bothered though as we weren't going straight to sleep however if you were wanting an early night this may affect your stay.

Pity about having to walk up a hill.

The cooked breakfast was very good , nicely cooked & the sausages were proper meat ones !! All the staff were very helpful, polite & friendly
