Lovesick Hostel & Bar Mpai Bay

Location was nice, just a few minutes walk into the main town and in the other direction the same distance to a lovely quiet beach with clear water. Room was rustic but spacious with a comfy bed and good mosquito net. We really appreciated having the outdoor patio space to dry wet swim stuff and had an overall good stay.

Sound travelled very well into the room and you could hear music/neighbours at all hours, earplugs recommended. Upstairs shared bathroom could’ve been cleaner at times.

I absolutely love it here. The owners are so friendly helpful. They are always on hand to ask any questions to and you can see that they love getting involved in any tasks around the place. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and spacious and the communal areas were great for chilling and playing cards. They have a happy hour every day which is a nice cheap way of meeting other backpackers. Love love loved the music bingo! I really hope I can back again next year!

We loved our stay at Lovesick, after a couple nights we decided to extend our stay as we enjoyed it so much. The staff and volunteers are very friendly and welcoming, which created a great atmosphere. The location is perfect, right on the beach and a short walk to plankton beach!

Personnel sympa, bon emplacement, pas cher

Lit moyennement confort, un gros trou dans la moustiquaire, un cadenas qui ferme à peine la porte, des fenêtres que l'on peut ouvrir comme on veut de l'extérieur... C'est dommage. Il manque un meuble pour poser ses affaires dans la chambre. Ça fait moyennement entretenu, ça pourrait être bien plus agréable avec un peu d'efforts.
