GBSingle beds we used were extremly comfortable. Location was just what we wanted for all the places we wanted to visit and the locals were all very friendly. We would defintely book again in the future.

would have been a cosy little cottage if it wasnt for the strong draught at the lounge window and the walk in shower didnt work , water was cold, the over bath hand shower worked but difficult to use as water went everywhere.
GBCharming and cosy end terrace cottage in an historical part of town, just a very short walk from the market square, restaurants, cafes, pub. Almost next door to lovely riverside walks. Good standard of accommodation and spacious ground floor accommodation with large separate kitchen, and through living and dining area. Wifi and streaming TV all worked well. Comfy bedrooms and large bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. All in all great for a holiday in Thirsk. Helfpul and responsive host. Easy access with key box and clear instructions.
Not a problem for us, but the stairs are steep (with excellent and thoughtfully placed handrails) and the double bed in the main bedroom is quite low down. If you have restricted mobility, this may not suit your needs.
GBGBThirsk town is a stones throw from the property. Lovely riverside walk to the park. Hayley the host was perfect! Nothing was too much trouble especially as my booking was last minute. Easy access to the main roads which are all well sign posted.
My only thing would be the table had bits of food in the groves of the table top, a quick pick up with the vacuum and a wipe down would fix this.

Dining chairs wrong height for table, but cushions provided. Perhaps a couple more dishwasher tablets!
GBLocation was ideally situated for the market square and dog walks.
