The Place to be in Stockholm Old Town

Beautiful large apartment. Great living area and kitchen/dining facilities. Two working bathrooms. Large bedrooms except for 4th room. Just a bit stuffy. But still serviceable and useful. Place in the heart of old town so a lot to do and many places to eat.

The location is amazing and it was perfect for our needs. We didn't do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed to have the basics covered.

When it rained the place got pretty warm since we couldn't open the windows then. A couple of fans would have been very helpful.

The hosts gave precise and clear instructions for how to enter the apartment which took under 30 seconds to enter. Was a quick and easy procedure with no hassle!

The only negative I would say is no wardrobes to place clothing. However did not impact the stay.

The location was fabulous & the apartment was warm & spacious

We had a good stay overall — the apartment is spacious and very well located in the heart of Gamla Stan. It’s ideal if you want to explore the old town on foot. I would give it a solid 8 out of 10. Just a few flaws that could easily be improved.

There are a few minor points for improvement: - One towel per guest is very poor - No proper coffee machine - a French press is not really sufficient - No bath mats and no waste bins in the bathrooms - At first glance, the apartment seemed clean, but on closer look, some areas (like the bathroom ventilation system) were not - Communication with the host could have been smoother: check-in instructions were very unclear (we were directed to 1st floor and apartment was on ground floor) and we could not contact host. - Also, it should be mentioned clearly that you need to lock the door manually using the digital button – this isn’t intuitive

The Location, bedrroms and living area were a good size.

The bathrooms were extremely poor. In fact the shower screen bracket was loose and looked like someone else had tried a temorary fix with a 50 pence and 20 pence piece to hold one of the shower screens in. Poor linen, with single duvets on double beds (which happened to be single beds) I’m not sure which were more loud, the dustman in the morning or the springs in the mattresses. The towels were hard and were definitely not clean. The door on the dishwasher was missing. Incredibly hard to get a comfortable temperature throughout. The toilet paper was more like tracing paper, hopefully the next set of guests will make best use of the quilted rolls we left. Poor instructions on how to lock the room door.
