The Place to be in Stockholm Old Town

It's a nice apartment - clean and comfortable. Good location in the centre of the Old Town.

Whilst the apartment was nice our overall experience was negatively impacted by our interactions with the host. We arranged a check out of 12 midday with the host the day prior to check out (which was the time given to us by the host when we requested a late check out). The morning of check out we packed up and went out, with a plan to be home just before 12 to collect our bags and leave the apartment. It was our first day in Europe and we didn't have wifi. When we arrived back at the apartment at 11.45am, the cleaner was there, and I had received messages at 11.15am saying we needed to leave the apartment immediately as they had guests coming. We didn't receive this as we didn't have access to wifi. The next message at 11.45am threatened to call security because we hadn't left (although this was all prior to our agreed upon check out time) and we were there to collect our bags and go. We left in a hurry, feeling upset on the basis of these interactions. For this reason I can't recommend staying here as this was an upsetting end to our time in Stockholm.

Our check-in time was 16:00. When we entered the house, the house had not been cleaned. When we told the landlord, he said the cleaning company would arrive shortly. While we were at home, the cleaning was done in a hurry. When we entered the house, we encountered dirty sheets and a dirty toilet.

Big, two bathroom, very central and great location

Very basic, no amenities but ok if just need a place to crash and be in a central place

Very central location in Old Town

Beautiful old building with loads of period features and charm. Situated with, shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, bakeries etc all on the door step, no need to even boil a kettle. Great to look down onto the streets below and watch the people, even mounted police go past. River is a few minutes walk where you can catch the ferry to the ABBA museum 😊Great place to stay.

WiFi poor and the TV uses the interest so no reception but we entertained ourselves. The youngest wanted to watch sport on TV and couldn't.
