The property is in a great location, the security and the staff were great.

The lounge and pillows were uncomfortable. I found there was way too much art hung in the premises so it felt cluttered. White paint to brighten as it was is a bit dark and removing most of the art would have made it feel more open and airy (but that is a personal opinion). An updated lounge and new pillows would also make a huge difference.

The kitchen cupboards need to be redone as black mould has eraded it.

Location of Property

Being told by Cleaner that we should leave on last morning when we had booked until next morning in order to catch an evening flight. A cock up by booking agency.

Setting was amazing. And the loadshedding lights and fans really helped with the heat.

No hot water all weekend.. Whoever was looking after the property didn't want to come on Friday, and forgot to sort it out on Saturday so by the time I reminded them there were no plumbers available until Sunday. Plumber came on Sunday as we were leaving and said it was just a valve that had been switched off. If whoever was looking after the property had just come out on Friday it could have all been sorted. A weekend with a family of four in 34 degree weather with no showers or baths was not fun at all. Also no gas in the stove and loadshedding on Friday night when we arrived so we couldn't cook our supper.

The location is perfect.

Furniture and decor outdated.

Clean. Walking distance to the beach. Great location. Love the outside bath.

Maybe a tumble dryer would be a great idea. The hanging for washing was not great.
