We found the apartment easily enough. It was very clean, had all the utensils and appliances that we needed (bar a washing machine but to be fair there is an amazing laundramat at Ballito Junction) and everything was easily accessible. The sea view was peaceful and relaxing. The welcoming coffee/tea tray was a lovely gesture. The security and staff at Boulder Bay were friendly and helpful.

We were not informed as to the correct wifi password and as to how the lights work during the loadshedding and as a direct result, we sat in the dark on our first two evenings. Noone had thought to show us how it all worked. We looked for a pamphlet with details but none was to be found. Sadly the lights in the apartment were inadequate. No overhead lights worked in the lounge/dining room nor the bedrooms so reading was impossible even with the solar bulbs in the lamps. My bed leg broke (it had a rock under the one side) and it took a strong worded e mail plus two days to the handling agent before they came to sort it. The owners also came later in the morning of the second day and explained everything to us including the fact that all the side lights had to be on (including the bathroom lights) for atleast 8 hours in order to charge them for the solar (sadly no one had thought to pre charge them). Once we knew this, it made our lives easier.

We loved everything about our stay at Boulder Bay 7. It felt like home away from home. Clean, neat, sea view. I loved the outside bathroom!!! (Outside, but very private and safe). We will definitely return.

the host was amazing.. location amazing facilities were good and very cosy for a little getaway. will definately stay there again... couldnt have asked for better.

the couch sadly was so uncomfortable couldn't sit on it as i have a bad back it was like the base cushions were missing from it.. sorry to say but its an easy fix. just put some pillows from the bed and was sorted.
