Steps to lake & Supermarket in Wanaka

It was in walking distance to shop and restaurants.

The heating was not working well. You could only have a luke warm shower or a burning hot shower, there was no in-between. One bedroom had a hole in the window and the heating was not working in the room. Another room had a large cracked window which had been sticky taped up. The outside of the home was very unkept and old looking, with very unkept lawns.

Very close to town and the lake. Very clean.

Very low water pressure. Messy yard.

Very clean with comfortable warm beds, fully equipped laundry. Super close to Wanaka town centre.

Read another review that says it looks abandoned from the outside-it does. Does need some more cutlery, particularly knives. The batteries in remotes need replacing, but these are easy fixes.

Location is fine but it is not steps from the lake or a supermarket.

The house looked derelict from the outside. Inside it's grubby and unloved and feels eery.

The beds were comfortable and the sheets were spotless, location was great

The place looked abandoned, garden very over grown, very uncared for and creepy. Could not get the TV to work and no response from property owner, the toaster had to be held down by hand to work, broken window latch in one of the bedrooms so window could not be closed, no lampshades in bedrooms, the bathroom was very sub standard and none of use would risk a shower, cobwebs everywhere, all windows were dirty. The glasses had to be washed before we could use them. Actually unable to lock the house on departure as it had seized, messaged property owner and once again no response. No instructions about what to do with rubbish. My bad for actually not reading reviews before booking, disappointed that booking.com have this place on their books. I work hard for my money and this was such a disappointing place to take my elderly parents

Location is ideal. Good to have two bathrooms and a washing machine.

Spiders and spider webs every where! In bathroom and corners or door frames etc. there was also a crack in one of the bedroom windows. Heat pump remote didn’t work.

Lovely, comfortable home close to town. It was the perfect location to walk easily into town. Owners were great to communicate with and very accommodating to our needs.
