Ye Old Lambing Lodge - Spring Paddock

I travel with work and staying in hotels can be tiresome and “samey “ This is definitely NOT the case here. A little off the beaten track but close enough to all the major routes to be very convenient. The high end kitchen, high quality furnishings, and the view of running ducks and donkeys coupled with the wonderful welcoming hosts makes this a cut above.

There is literally nothing to criticise about this property - maybe an additional shelf in the bathroom is you REALLY pushed me!! But I’m being ridiculous as there is a cupboard under the sink with lots of storage space!!

Loved the location!

Spring Paddock is the perfect place for rest and relaxation. Ye olde lambing lodge is beautifully designed and has everything you need. The owners have fabulous taste in decorative furniture too. We were lucky that the weather was nice so we could sit out on our private patio and watch the nearby donkeys, sheep and ducks. Even in poor weather there are plenty of places to visit nearby or to just spend time in the gorgeous lodge would be so relaxing.

Lovely lodge in nice setting and area, including views of duck pond, donkeys and sheep. Had everything we needed and everything was very comfortable and very clean. Fabulous place.
