It was pretty warm so air conditioning would of been great but that’s not the case end of the world

Absolutely everything about the shepherd's hut was perfect, we could have easily lived in it. It was really well sound proofed, and extremely clean. It had lots of lovely little extra things like shower caps, a milk and a water in the fridge, shampoo,conditioner and body wash. Nice size tv lovely porthole windows with privacy glass covers. I would book again right now. The lady who owned it and greeted us was very nice and helpful

Very peaceful location, felt miles from everything but actually not far from conveniences. Enjoyed walking and horse riding in Cannock chase. Local pub did a good dinner.

A couple of extra glasses would be nice but I'm not picking!

Very welcoming hosts. Great place to stay, tranquil and quaint. Lots of lovely touches & fab style of decor. Very relaxing with views of lake and the animals.

It was so lovely and relaxing! As a woman travelling for work on my own, I felt very safe! It was really clean, with a lovely view and the host was really nice. I’ll be back!

The only criticism, it could do with a fan during the heat. You can’t have the large window open during the night due to closing the paddock, so was warm.

"Great little getaway ."

The lodge is immaculate and finished to a high standard. Toiletries and towels provided if needed. The owner was lovely, friendly and helpful. It is so peaceful, the setting is beautiful. You wouldn't think you were just outside the town. We came for a recharge and that's what we got . Would definitely recommend if you want to escape from it all for a night or a few days .

There was nothing we didn't like.
