"A lack of hot water, airlocks and overly elaborate instructions on how to use a shower..."

- decent location - very comfortable bed - good amount of towels - generally a clean and nice place, the bathroom is decent, but see below for more info... - Marco is a nice guy and we had good comms, but that was until we had to bicker about the immersion heater and the fact that you only get about 60 seconds of hot water when showering - also see below - i paid 50euro per night for this apartment, which is reasonable, but anything more would be robbery

- a lack of hot water in the shower. if you like washing / taking showers, then this property is not for you. this situation was discussed at length with Marco, i'm not sure whether the immersion heater IS actually broken, but either way, we weren't about to use the shower / wash properly - the shower is very small. anyone taller than 170cm will have problems - very cold. mainly due to the weather in bari at the time, but even when using the air-con, the apartment was generally very cold - noisy neighbours and the front door of the building slamming all the time. the peak of this was hip-hop being played at 2:30am on friday night. - airlock in the pipes. you get this persistent squeaking sound, especially in the evening / night, and morning - smaller than anticipated

Host is very attentive to details and helpful. Room is stylish and comfortable.

Bathroom is clean, but needs to be a bit repaired. There are some cracks on the wall and mold in shower cabin.

Great communication with the owner and some good recommendations received from Marco. Central location, within short walking distance from the old town and the train station.

No towels but bathrobes. Marco kindly brought us some but I'd expect towels to be provided as standard.

Good location, superb host, clean room, availability of utensils and kitchen, complimentary food (yes, even that was there), excellent city.

Everything was great, it's just a shame that we came for such a short time😃
