The Lodge - Dog Friendly Farm Cottage

Very bright and airy and super clean. The garden was amazing for the dogs to run around with the security of them not escaping. Great having the en suite especially as my wife struggles to share a bathroom Hot tub was amazing which was well used Kids loved the games room which had multiple things to do on the games table

The location was very much in the middle of no where. Not much for the kids to do. A trampoline or swing would have been a bonus as there were times where they were bored. The bathroom shower was very stiff and hard to turn the temperature down so was very hot or hot. Managed to sort it in the end though The hot tub had a lot of chlorine in it The Chinese only takes cash which we didn’t have so That was disappointing for my daughter on her birthday.

Beautiful accommodation, very clean and comfortable, ideal for a quiet break away, enclosed garden perfect for our dog, would definitely book again.

Only comments, the mattress on the bed was a bit squishy, a firmer one would have been more comfortable ( personal preference)

Great location to visit family - able to host family at the cottage, which was great.

Hot tub was a bonus. Lovely good sized enclosed garden, which the dog loved. Nice games room, if you have children to entertain, which is also separate from main building.

Peaceful, quite and relaxing. And lovely outside space.

The communication prior to our stay was great-very responsive and answered all questions I had. Lovely little touches to welcome us-fresh flowers, hot tub was on ready for our arrival. Games were a great added extra, we loved to have a games night during our stay!

Ideas for improvement: a few more plates & bowls as only just enough. Also similar with the cutlery. Also, single mattresses in twin room are not very comfortable, so might be good to have a topper or be replaced.

Lovely bright, warm and modern lodge, the enclosed garden was nicely secure for our 3 dogs and easy to sweep hard floors made it even more dog friendly. Loved the hot tub and made use of the BBQ.
