Dragon Suites - Edinburgh City Centre 1 Bed Apartment

It was in the part of town which was convenient. It was situated in a quiet street close to shops and restaurants. It was part of a beautiful Georgian house which had been converted into apartments. The ground floor apartment was well designed warm and welcoming. Sorry but we didn’t take any photos.

Only because we do not have any experience of microwave ovens, modern televisions and their abilities and modern ovens except our own Neff and even coffee machines, we would very much have appreciated instructions for them all. We eventually managed by trial and error to understand how to get the TV to confine itself to the channels we wanted! Then we were emboldened to try the microwave to heat a cup of water to make coffee. It took us 2 tries to get it hot enough. This was all a fun learning experience. but it did take time. Please could you provide a simple guide to each of your appliances! Just a suggestion for the interior design: I feel that all white walls and woodwork is becoming a bit out of date, you could consider a warmer palette when you plan to redecorate. The photo in your website of a property in St Andrews looked very attractive.

Location was great and easy to get too. Nicely done out inside and easy entry. Modern and Clean. Roomy in kitchen/living room area.

Overpriced for facilities and for just a 1 bed apartment. Be mindful that you will need to pay an extra £20 if using sofa bed, this was extremely ridiculous seen as though it was already overpriced to begin with. The bed wasn’t even set up with the linen when we arrived. I don’t think it is worth the price and for this reason we wouldn’t return. Noticed that one of the light sockets in the bathroom was broken and needs fixing.

Location was amazing -- right in the heart of Edinburgh. We loved having access to this little apartment a few steps from the tram and close to the Castle area. It was comfy and clean, and especially nice to have a separate space for my teenage son in the pullout couch. Also nice to have a kitchen in order to save on eating breakfasts at the apartment. Very close walk to 2 small grocery stores.

We definitely paid for the proximity to everything -- and I think Edinburgh is just an expensive city. This was the most expensive lodging we had during our 5 weeks in Europe. But I knew that, and was willing to splurge for the location.

Excellent location, very well equiped, all functioning well. Easy access from the downtown (walking distance), and access to the busses / trum was easy. Nice restaurants around the area, and they were all very good.

Nothing. It was excellent.

The property was clean and cozy. It’s well equipped for nearly everything including cooking utensils and washing powder / washing liquid etc. A very useful manual guide was provided in the flat too. We received our spooky treats for Halloween as well which was a nice gesture

The check out time was slightly too early and no luggage storage
