Lovely house on the skipton canal. The canal path was right at the top of the garden. Beautiful walk into skipton. On site parking which was a bonus. The house was lovely and homely. Would love to come back in the summer.

The accommodation was very clean, warm, homely and comfortable. Probably one of the most comfortable houses we have ever stayed in and we have been booking cottages for over 35 years. It had everything you would need to enjoy your time away, it is a little dated but that was fine and I guess it could be said it adds to its charm. It was a nice 15 min stroll along the canal into the town centre. It was a quiet location and there was off road free parking. There is a large Morrison's supermarket 10 min walk from the cottage, this is on the right side of the town to use and avoid a lot of the traffic congestion. We ate at the Indian and the Turkish restaurant, which were both excellent and had Sunday lunch at The Wooly sheep pub, all in Skipton.

Being charged £30 to take our parrot, this has never happened in the 15 years we have taken her to cottages. There is never any mess from her as we leave the cottages as clean as when we arrived. I did mention this to the owners but there was no response.

Quiet location. Very convenient for Skipton Town centre eating places coffee shops and superstores all round the corner.Home from home feel.Great having parking at front of the property. Comfy bed.

Maybe new frying pans needed.Better hand rail front of the property as very rough for splinters.Also a light at front door needed.

I lost my phone with email instructions. It was impossible to get in touch with booking.com but luckily I remembered address and code.

I think the extra cost for bringing a dog is unreasonable as with my dog no extra cleaning required
