Spacious 4-bed Holiday Home in the heart of Maidstone

Layout of apartment was good with room for 7people in three bedrooms. Clean and fresh looking.

Too hot and no instructions on how to control heating. Pub below was too noisy to have window open in rooms above to help cool down. Parking place was very tight because entry was on a one way street

We travelled down for a funeral - staying at the cottage was perfect for our party. Would Highly recommend.

The only smallish issue was on arrival there is a bad smell only on the entry floor. This is a very old building so to be expected. The living quarters were perfect fresh and lovely smelling. Did not affect stay.

No lights at entrance or outside single toilet for a 3 bed poor showers very cold, lack of heating at this time of year. beds not comfortable.

It was spacious, clean and warm. The owner was helpful in providing directions to the property.

It smelt very badly of damp and was tired looking. Main door to the pub didn’t shut. There was a lot of rubbish outside the property and the parking space was right next to a very dilapidated garage which looked like it was about to fall down. There was supposed to be a parking space next to the garage but this was occupied other than when we first arrived and we had to drive around for ages to find some where to park.

The location was perfect. An easy 15 minute walk to everything - shorter to several places to eat. Our host greeted us and walked us through the property. We had 4 adults and 1 teen in the home and had more than enough room for all of us. The apartment is nicely decorated and the rooms are quite substantial.

Parking is a bit tricky if you are bringing more than one car.

The apartment is above a pub which we didn’t realise but the pub wasn’t open when we stayed so this didn’t really make any difference. The place was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host was easily contactable and helpful. Good value for money.

Good location. Short walk into town. Nice club next door.
