Spacious 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of Old Town

Perfect location, quiet place, nearby to all attractions in old Riga, comfortable apartment, clean.

This was not an issue for us but good to know - apartment is in 4th floor.

Very difficult to get the luggage to the apartment. Ladies, if you have a heavy luggage you are in trouble (no one helps). Lighting in the apartment is placed off. Bedroom: no light by the bed. The pans for cooking is damaged. Very bear minimum, no personal touch for the traveler. I felt unwelcome.

Lack of attention to detail with cleaning which was a shame as apartment itself is beautiful. The central heating doesnt come on in Riga yet, advised there is an electric heater in the wardrobe but I couldnt find it. Not too much of an issue, used duvet and blankets to keep warm in the evening but worth bringing a dressing gown or something extra to keep you warm if visiting before the central heating is switched on in the city. I arrived late at night approx.10.30pm, there was a very dodgy man dressed in all black with his hood up stumbling towards me in the courtyard as I entered, the front gate had been left open so I assume he had wondered in from the street to keep warm. Obviously this isnt a reflection on the apartment and the area itself seemed safe in general, but I would advise not to arrive late as a female solo traveller to this apartment. I have arrived on a later flight at other similar locations and felt completely safe, so maybe just my bad luck on this occasion but it did put me on edge and make me think twice about staying out after dark.

I really enjoyed the location of the accommodation—it was perfect! The design and appearance of the apartment were also impressive, very stylish and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed, which made my stay even more convenient.

However, I was disappointed with the pillows—they were uncomfortable, far too high, and made my neck feel almost at a 90-degree angle. Additionally, the pillowcases had stains. Although they had been washed, large yellow stains remained, which was quite disturbing. While looking for a plate in the kitchen cabinet, I also found one with dried food remnants on it, which was not what I expected in a clean space.

Quiet place right in the heart of the old town with stylish interior, fresh, clean and spacious. Everything you need is there, comfortable bed, good shower, washing machine, large screen TV, WiFi, kitchen with proper equipment, etc. Perfect in every way!

The location was excellent. In the middle of the center and in a quiet street. Very confy sofa. The dishwasher is an appreciated bonus.
