Spacious 1-bedroom apartment in the heart of Old Town

The apartment was announced with balcony but this is not correct. There is now picture of this "balcony" and when I asked for this from the host this was not answered. The "balcony" is a small platform outside of the bedroom to be used as a emergency exit. This is NOT a balcony. We ended up with no hot water the last 1 1/2 day. When we discovered this late in the evening and contacted the host we didn't get any understanding and told that this was already informed about in main entry in the building. That was NOT correct. So with cold shower the last day we asked for compensation from the host and since he declined we took this with Booking.com and got a small amount. Booking.com didn't manage to reach the host at all. Conclusion: a nice apartment with good location but the host is bad with a terribly bad attitude towards "customer" paying for good service. So the chance for a nice stay is in my opinion 50/50 depending if you get any problems and need to communicate with the host.

Poor owner’s responsiveness, lots of glasses missing, very bright living room during the night (annoying for those sleeping on couch)

Great apartment, spotlessly clean, lovely big comfy bed, great bathroom and shower (lots of spare toilet roll plus shampoo and shower gel). Fabulous location less that 5 mins walk to the Opera House part of the city and the bars/restaurants in the square.

No view from balcony (just a wall). The apartment details states a courtyard, on arrival through main gate there are several large commercial waste bins and there is a small seated area there (undercover, no view) but it was not a pretty place to sit and we did not use it (perhaps for smokers it would be useful?).
